DEAR HANNAH CLUB The legacy continues. The author, Brenda Manges Papadakis, that wrote the best selling book Dear Jane has written another winning book entitled, Dear Hannah after the birth of her granddaughter. Dear Jane enthusiasts embraced the historical patterns linking past and present, and clubs formed all over the world. Now with her second book published, clubs are once again springing up across the globe. Members can choose either set of classes but we can only accommodate 10 per class. So first come, first served, as the saying goes. Class A: Class B: So if you’re registered for the Dear Hannah Club, please contact the store and let us know which class you would like to take. And if you’re interested in taking part in this exciting Club, please drop by and register before time runs out!! |

MYSTERY BLOCK OF THE MONTH BY BORDER CREEK STATION This is an 8 month mystery Block of the Month project in which you purchase your fabric at the beginning, and each month you receive instructions for your block. We have chosen the beautiful Moda fabric called Portobello Market for this project, but you can choose other fabric if you like. You have a choice of plain or pieced borders, and a choice of a lap or queen size quilt to make. At the end of the 8 months, we will have a reveal party at the store to see all your creations. The price for this block of the month depends on the choices you have made above. There is no class involved in this block of the month. Please call the store and register for this exciting and different MYSTERY Block of the Month!! |

Gramma's Schoolhouse Club Gramma’s is beginning another new and exciting Club in September. This involves all who have taken a minimum 3 ½ hour technique quilting class at Gramma’s. We have chosen 14 quilting “techniques” which we think each and every quilter should know. If you have taken one of these classes at Gramma’s you will be recognized for it on your “report card”. If you still need to learn one of these techniques, take one of our “mini” classes. There are Schoolhouse classes every month for you to choose from and these classes will be ongoing. As we are only starting out with this, we will be adding intermediate and advanced classes as we go along. The Club will meet once a month, on a drop in basis, to catch up on what’s happening, see how everyone is doing and if there are any questions. All who join the Club will receive a 25% discount on their birthday. There will be no fee to join the Club, but you must have taken a “technique” class at the store. You will be rewarded with a “Gramma’s Schoolhouse Diploma” after completing a certain amount of classes. This will be another fun Club at Gramma’s, so be sure to join in!!! |
